Absolutely Excellent! Shain’s of Maine is a hidden gem that delivers on all fronts—quality, value, and variety! The food is excellent and surprisingly affordable. Portions are just right—not too much, not too little—and everything is packed with flavor. The lobster roll is fresh and perfectly prepared, the whole belly clams are a seafood lover’s dream, and there’s plenty for land lovers too! Whether you’re craving comfort food or a hearty New England classic, Shain’s has it covered. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—the ice cream pies and sundaes are next level! This place is a must-visit whether you’re a local or just passing through. Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic place for excellent food! Casual and relaxed place with patron friendly prices and excellent portions. Their ice cream is amazing too! We love going here often! PS! Be aware they do not serve hamburgers or cheese burgers.

Very cool place with good food, super low prices and fantastic ice cream. We had fried haddock sandwich, hot dog, chili fries and haddock dippers. Less than $30 and food was very good. Topped it was some of the creamiest ice cream ever. Highly recommend.

We tried the lobster roll, fries & chowder. It was all delicious! Then we topped it off with a huge Brownie Sundae! WOW! My husband & I split it.

We are super happy to have found Shain's of Maine! The food was delicious and priced very reasonably. Lobster roll, chowder and fries for $15.99 is the best deal you will find. The ice cream is made on site, delicious, and also incredibly reasonably priced. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Jeff and having a nice little conversation, getting some history of the restaurant and his family as well. I would give 6 stars if possible, very highly recommend Shain's of Maine!?

I got Lobstah roll combo with chowder and fries for 16 bucks. Best bargain ever. They could improve the order system though.

Shains was so busy! The food is delicious. My son got the lobster roll. He said it was so delicious his eyes rolled back while he was eating it. The chicken and fries were great also. We also had delicious strawberry shakes. It was all very good. The hot dog man was wicked cool. My son said if you go to Maine you gotta go to Shains of Maine. Its worth your time!
